Character Education

What is Character Education?
Character is what a person is inside. Our character is revealed by how we act when we think no one else is looking. A person of character has good ethical values that distinguish right from wrong and a strong commitment to do what is right even when it is inconvenient, uncomfortable, or personally costly. Developing positive character traits among youth is vital in today's society.
Our students are taught to follow the golden rule:Treat others the way you want to be treated!
Our Character Education program is based on the 6 pillars:
* Respect
* Responsibilty
* Fairness
* Citizenship
* Trustworthiness
* Caring
These pillars are taught through classroom lessons and school wide service learning projects.
