Meet the School Counselor
My name is Mrs. Kreig and I am so excited to start the 2020 - 2021 school year. This is my fourteenth year as the School Counselor at Dr. Gerald H. Woehr Elementary School. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Frostburg State University in Psychology and I graduated from Rowan University with my Master's degree in Counseling in an Educational Setting in May, 2007.
I married my husband, Justin in 2012. We have two children...our son Carter will be 7 in November and our daughter Ryan turned 5 in June. They keep us very busy! We love to go to parks, and be outside. We just started camping this summer and love traveling to new places when we can!
As the school counselor, I serve as an advocate and support the students as they experience the many physical, emotional, social, and intellectual changes they go through. This will be done through group and individual counseling, classroom lessons, and school-wide programs. I am here to help students as they seek to identify and achieve their personal goals. I will provide an environment where students can come and share their thoughts and feelings as well as solve problems. I am a good resource for parents, teachers, and the community.
