What is a Rockin' Warrior?

 

 

A Rockin' Warrior is a student who shows good character.  They are always respectful, includes others, helpful to their peers and adults, and tries their very best!  If a student is caught 1) being a friend to someone, 2) Helpful to a teacher, or 3) made good choices, a teacher/staff member can give that student a Rockin' Warrior card.  Every adult in our school gets 3 Rockin' Warrior Cards per week, so they have to chose wisely.  The student puts the card in their grade level box which is located in the Main Office.  Every Friday, one Rockin' Warrior is picked per grade and is announced over the loud speaker during morning announcements.  Pictures are taken and displayed in the showcase in the main hallway.  The Rockin' Warriors get to lead the school in the pledge of allegiance the following week.

In addition, we have Rockin' Warriors of the Month and Rockin' Teacher/Staff of the Month. During the month, teachers, staff, and parents can nominate students and teachers/staff for all the good things they've done throughout the entire month.  Our Character Education Committee reads through the nominations and picks one Rockin' Warrior of the Month per grade and one Rockin' Staff Warrior.  These are announced the last Friday of every month during the morning announcements.  Pictures are taken and displayed in the showcase in the main hallway.  The Rockin' Warriors of the Month are also displayed on the marque in front of our school, and they lead the school in the pledge of allegiance during the following month!
